About

I am an abstract artist working in mixed media. I see stories and poetry in silence and magic in contrast. I’m inspired by vast open fields and quiet creeks, but also drawn to the deep calm of forests, the shifting moods of the ocean, and the strength of old stone walls.

Nature speaks to me — not in grand gestures, but in the quiet drama of texture, light, and line. The city, too, stirs my imagination: the geometry of skylines, the rhythm of footsteps, the mystery behind windows. My work lives in the space between — where wild meets constructed, soft meets structured, and every detail is deliberate.

I paint and collage with both boldness and restraint, pairing friendly words with ironic twists, mystery with hope, and always leaving room for the viewer to wander.

Living in West Vancouver, British Columbia I gather ideas from walks along the beach, cycling along winding roads and hikes in our woods.
